Creative Burst
Winter can be a slower time for photographers, as the frenzy for fall family photos, and more traditional (and comfortable) warm outdoor weather seasons have passed. Despite the colder weather being harder to navigate, obviously cold weather seasons can still be gorgeous for photos. Anya and I met just outside of Boulder on a bright, February afternoon. For as cold as Colorado may be at times, we have so many beautifully sunny winter days, and this day was just that.
Model sessions give me a great chance to try out new poses, new gear, scout new locations, keep my skills fresh, and add depth to my portfolio. Anya models from time to time for fun. She was a super interesting person to get to know. Learning about and talking with people I photograph is one of my favorite parts of a session. Enjoy some of the highlights of this session below.
