FAQ
How do I book a session?
Filling out the contact form on my site is the best way to start the booking process. Let me know what type of session you'd like, an ideal timeline, and any specifics you think are helpful. I will follow up with my availability and payment information.
What images are edited and delivered?
I deliver a strong selection of images from the session, selecting the best images when there are multiples of a similar pose or grouping. As expected, I do not deliver images that do not meet my standards - eyes closed, blurry, etc. Estimates for the number of images delivered are listed for each service. All selected images are edited and delivered in an online gallery, where you can directly download.
What is your turn around time from session to gallery delivery?
In most cases, photos will be edited and delivered within two weeks of the session. Photos are edited in the order of sessions completed.
How do you accept payment?
I accept electronic payment through my business Venmo and Paypal accounts. 50% Payment is required to add your session to my calendar. The remaining 50% is due day of session. Photo galleries will not be edited until a full payment has been received.
What about Mini Sessions?
Mini sessions (short, 20-minute sessions) are available a few times per year and are organized at my discretion. Feel free to inquire about upcoming mini session events.
Do you do indoor studio sessions?
Yes, a studio setting is always an option. We can discuss various studio options, locations, and rental fees.
Can I bring my dog(s)?
I love pets. Let me know if you are interested in bringing yours along for a session so we can plan accordingly.
Can you Photoshop that?
If there is something you're concerned about during your session let me know - the bruise above your kiddo's eye that will be healed next week - yes, I can edit it out. I include light photo edits for temporary things like acne, scratches, baby drool, etc. for all sessions. I will often edit distracting background elements or fix small issues with clothing. I do not alter bodies.
Do you share raw images?
I do not deliver raw images at this time.
Is there an extra fee for larger family sessions?
In order to prepare adequately for each session, I like to know how many subjects I'll be managing during a session. Families of 8 or more are subject to an additional $150 fee.
